Once in Salamanca Bus Station, the best option is to take a Taxi to the venue hotel should cost around 6-8 €. (from 23.45 € it takes around 3 hours to arrive to Salamanca) You can take a direct bus to Salamanca at Terminal 1 of Madrid-Barajas Airport:
This service costs 30 euro to Madrid downtown (fix rate) from any Terminal. Of course, there are plenty of Taxis to get to Madrid city center. Please, have a look to the Madrid Metro Map to localize it (see northeast). The only available line at the Airport is LINE 8. Nevertheless, once at Terminal 2 (you can move between terminals by using the free Shuttle Service Bus), the cheapest (4.5 €) way to get into Madrid City Center is by underground (METRO). There are several options to get into Madrid City Center ( BUS, TRAIN, METRO) with very high frequencies. Madrid Airport is located at around 12 km (8 miles) northeast of Madrid.
